At Westmead Eyes Optometrists, we understand that not everyone can access primary eye health services by attending our clinic. We often get called out to hospitals and wards, nursing homes and local communities to provide eye care. We are equipped with completely portable equipment should you not be able to visit our clinic.
- Visit you in hospital / at an aged care facility
- Provide a full sight test
- Prescribe and dispense glasses
- Provide you with a medical report & any recommendations
Eye Appointments in Hospitial
For individuals in hospital, we can come to you and set up at a time that is convenient to you.
Aged Care Facility Optometrist Visits
For aged care facilities, there must be a minimum number of at least 10 patients before a clinic can be booked. A clinic may be done over multiple days depending on the number of patients. If we have not been to your premises before, we will be happy to arrange a courtesy visit in advance to discuss where and how our eye tests can be performed
We can also supply you with display information to inform your residents of our services.
