DR KEVIN TRAC
Principal Optometrist – Complex Contact Lenses, Keratoconus, Dry Eye and Binocular Vision

Kevin was born at Westmead Hospital, where he now practices. He completed his optometry training with Honours at the University of New South Wales, graduating with degrees in Vision Science and Optometry. During his studies, he undertook clinical placements at the Australian College of Optometry (Melbourne) and the South-West Eye Hospital in Chongqing, China.
Kevin is the principal optometrist at Westmead Eyes, where he focuses on the assessment and management of complex eye and vision conditions. His clinical work includes keratoconus, post-corneal transplant care, severe dry eye disease, and patients requiring specialty contact lenses, including scleral lenses for visual rehabilitation.
He also has a strong clinical interest in binocular vision and neuro-optometric care. Kevin assesses patients experiencing symptoms such as dizziness, vertigo, headaches, double vision, light sensitivity and persistent visual symptoms following concussion. He also works with children and adults experiencing visual efficiency difficulties that may affect reading, concentration and visually demanding tasks.
Kevin is trained in orthokeratology and myopia management, and provides dry eye assessment and treatment, IPLtherapy and meibomian gland assessment. He was among the early adopters of in-clinic thermal and gland expression therapies for chronic dry eye management in Australia.
As a therapeutically endorsed optometrist, Kevin can prescribe ocular medications and manages a wide range of anterior eye conditions, including infection and inflammation. He also works collaboratively with ophthalmologists in the co-management of glaucoma, corneal disease and post-operative care.
Kevin has previously worked with the Brien Holden Vision Institute, helping deliver eye-care services to remote Aboriginal communities across New South Wales and the Northern Territory. He is also involved in mentoring optometry students and clinicians, particularly in complex contact lens fitting and case management.
Kevin is a member of the Optometry Association of Australia, Cornea and Contact Lens Society of Australia (CCLSA), Orthokeratology Society of Oceania (OSO), Scleral Lens Education Society (SLS), International Keratoconus Academy (IKA), and the Australasian College of Behavioural Optometrists (ACBO). He maintains ongoing professional development across corneal disease, contact lenses, dry eye, binocular vision and neuro-optometric care.
DR SZE HO YING
Optometrist – Binocular Vision, Concussion and Neuro-Optometric Care

Sze Ho is a highly experienced optometrist with more than 25 years of clinical practice. She has extensive experience in binocular vision, concussion-related visual dysfunction and the assessment of complex functional vision problems in both children and adults.
She works with patients experiencing persistent symptoms such as headaches, eye strain, difficulty reading, double vision, dizziness, vertigo, light sensitivity, visual motion sensitivity and difficulty concentrating during visually demanding tasks.
Sze Ho has a particular clinical focus on the visual effects of concussion and mild traumatic brain injury. She assesses patients whose ongoing symptoms may be associated with difficulties in eye teaming, focusing, eye movements, visual processing or the interaction between vision and balance.
Her assessments extend beyond a standard eye examination and may include detailed evaluation of binocular vision, accommodation, eye movements, visual coordination and how the visual system responds during reading, movement and everyday activities.
Following assessment, Sze Ho develops an individualised management plan based on each patient’s findings and needs. Recommendations may include lenses, prism, structured vision therapy strategies, environmental modifications or collaborative care with other health professionals where appropriate.
Sze Ho has completed extensive postgraduate education in behavioural and neuro-optometry, including advanced programs (AAVC and ANOC) through the Australasian College of Behavioural Optometrists (ACBO). Her experience, careful clinical approach and detailed assessments make her an important part of the Westmead Eyes team for patients with persistent or complex visual symptoms.
She is a professional member of the Australasian College of Behavioural Optometrists and continues to undertake further education in binocular vision, neuro-optometry and functional vision care.
Outside the practice, Sze Ho enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering within her local community.
DR RONALD LEE
Optometrist – Myopia Management and Contact Lenses

Ronald is a therapeutically endorsed optometrist with experience across both regional and metropolitan practice settings. He began his career in regional New South Wales, where he managed a broad range of eye-health and vision concerns, before returning to Sydney and developing a particular interest in children’s vision and myopia management.
At Westmead Eyes, Ron provides comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages and plays an important role in the assessment and ongoing management of progressive myopia in children and young adults.
He develops individualised myopia-management plans based on each patient’s prescription, age, eye growth and lifestyle. Depending on the patient’s needs, management options may include orthokeratology, myopia-control spectacle or contact lenses, atropine treatment and regular monitoring.
Ron has also completed further postgraduate training in advanced contact lenses. He sees patients requiring contact lens assessment and management, including selected patients with keratoconus or more complex fitting requirements, and works closely with the broader clinical team where collaborative care is appropriate.
He also provides dry eye screening and management, including assessment of the tear film, eyelids and meibomian glands, with treatment recommendations based on each patient’s symptoms and clinical findings.
Ron is actively involved in clinical education and has supervised final-year optometry students from the University of New South Wales and the University of Auckland. He also participates in volunteer outreach programs providing optometry and cataract-care services to rural communities in Cambodia.
He is a member of the Orthokeratology Society of Oceania (OSO) and remains committed to continuing education in myopia management, children’s vision, contact lenses and ocular health.
DR QUANG (TONY) LE
Optometrist – Comprehensive Eye Care, Dry Eye and Contact Lenses

Tony is a therapeutically endorsed optometrist who completed his training at the University of New South Wales. He has been part of the Westmead Eyes team since his student years, gaining extensive clinical experience within the practice before transitioning into his current role as an optometrist.
This continuity has allowed Tony to develop a strong understanding of the clinic’s approach to patient care, with a focus on thorough assessment, clear communication and practical management. Having trained within the practice, Tony is well-versed in the clinical approach used at Westmead Eyes and works closely with the team to ensure continuity of care.
He provides comprehensive eye examinations and manages a wide range of eye conditions, including refractive error, ocular health and contact lens care. Tony is known for his calm and approachable manner, and works closely with patients to ensure they feel comfortable and well-informed throughout their consultation.
At Westmead Eyes, Tony plays an important role in providing ongoing eye care for patients of all ages, including routine examinations and monitoring of eye health. He works closely with the clinical team and contributes to the management of patients requiring follow-up care or further assessment.

As a qualified optical dispenser from the Australasian College of Optical Dispensing, Tony has over 40 years of experience in the optical industry. He has been with Westmead Eyes since the practice opened. Tony enjoys finding the perfect frame for customers, helping patients choose frames that look great while providing clear, comfortable vision. He comes highly skilled and he brings extensive technical knowledge and dispensing experience.
