Choosing The Right Appointment
Select the option that best matches your needs from the booking menu.
Not sure which option to select? Simply book a Routine Eye Test. We will assess your concerns and advise whether any additional testing or a specialised assessment is recommended.
Fees & What to Expect
Your eye examination is tailored to your individual needs and includes a comprehensive assessment of your vision and eye health.
Where clinically indicated, a single additional diagnostic testing fee of $95–$100 may apply. This covers targeted screening or diagnostic testing performed during your appointment, such as:
- OCT imaging
- binocular vision screening
- dry-eye screening
- corneal topography
- axial length measurements
We will explain why the testing is recommended and confirm the fee before proceeding.
This additional testing fee applies to screening or diagnostic testing performed as part of a routine or review appointment. It does not include a full specialised assessment, which may require a separate appointment and consultation fee.
Specialised Assessments
Patients already seeking assessment for a specific concern should select the relevant appointment directly from the booking menu.
Specialised appointments are available for:
- dry eye
- binocular vision dysfunction, headaches, dizziness or reading difficulties
- post-concussion visual symptoms
- keratoconus and specialty contact lenses
- myopia control and orthokeratology
- children’s vision and learning-related concerns
These appointments allow additional time for a more detailed assessment and personalised management plan. A separate consultation fee applies depending on the specialised appointment selected.
What to bring
Please bring:
- your Medicare card
- your private health fund card
- your current glasses, sunglasses and contact lenses
- any relevant reports from teachers, paediatricians, specialists or other health professionals
Relevant reports are particularly helpful for children’s appointments and specialised assessments.
Appointment Changes
If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please contact us as early as possible so we can offer the time to another patient.
Urgent Eye Concerns
For sudden vision loss, severe eye pain, recent eye trauma, new flashes or floaters, or rapidly worsening symptoms, please contact our practice directly rather than relying on a routine online appointment.
Our Approach
We provide advanced diagnostic testing and tailored assessments for both routine and complex vision concerns. Our focus is on identifying the underlying cause of your symptoms, not simply updating your prescription.
